Skincare Edit US (skincareedit.us) is Melanie Grant's online skincare store. It is operated by, and products are sold by, Melanie Grant Skin Inc, 8438 Melrose Place, West Hollywood, CA 90069, United States ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at skincareedit@melaniegrant.com.

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this store and to products you buy from it. They work together with our Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. They are the same terms as the Terms of Sale for this country on melaniegrant.com. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Using the store

You may use the store for lawful, personal purposes only. Please keep your account details secure and give us accurate information when you order. We may suspend or change the store, or any part of it, and may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably need to, for example where a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order, we will refund any payment taken.

Products and information

We take care to describe products accurately. Product information, including ingredients and claims, comes from the brands we stock, and packaging may change; always read the label before use. Colours and textures may look slightly different on screen.

Advice on this store, from our team or in our content, is general in nature and is not medical advice. Patch test new products, and speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin condition, or use prescription skincare. If you have a reaction, stop using the product and seek advice.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), including for orders shipped to Canada and other countries outside the US. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping destination; any import duties or taxes for international deliveries are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you order. If we find an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch, and you may cancel for a full refund.

Your order

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms we have received your order but does not form a contract. A binding contract arises when we send an email confirming that your order has been dispatched.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes, charges, and the treatment of any customs and import duties are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns, refunds and your rights

Our Returns Policy explains how to return a product, and what we offer beyond the law.

Product warranties. Products are sold subject to any warranties provided by us or the manufacturer. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable state law, implied warranties are limited in duration to the period during which a return is permitted under our Returns Policy. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this may not apply to you. If a product is defective or not as described, contact us and we will make it right.

Gift cards, promotions and loyalty

Gift cards, promotional codes and loyalty rewards are subject to the terms shown with them at the time they are issued.

Reviews, comments and third-party links

If you submit a review or comment, it must be genuine, lawful and about your own experience; we may moderate or remove content that is not. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Intellectual property

The content on this store, including text, images and the Melanie Grant and Skincare Edit names, belongs to us or our licensors. Please do not copy or reuse it without our permission.

Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this store or our products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful injury or a violation of law, and some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law of the state where you live requires otherwise.
